Scope of Service Experience

Ms Luedy specializes in identifying opportunities both on and off-market for commercial real estate investors - both buyers and sellers. Deborah's tenured experience is with investments whether hotels, senior living; multi-family; land or commercial note sales. She has an in-depth background in financial and strategic planning as well as mergers and acquisitions. Deborah has been a NAI Capital Club producer and achieved NAI Global Elite recognition. She has been in the real estate industry for 25 plus years. Before joining NAI Global/Capital she served at an executive level with an international multi-family housing company. Her present geographical focus for the placement of funds is in the U.S.A. by domestic and foreign investors and funds of funds as well as family offices. Client investments typically range in sale value from $15M - $250MM. Prior to joining NAI she worked briefly with Sperry Van Ness (SVN)in a management capacity and with Ramsey-Shilling (RS) as their senior living and development specialist. Deborah was an executive with R&B Realty (Oakwood) and R&B Apartment Management companies for nearly 14 years. As a senior vice president and former assistant general manager, she was responsible for its U.S. domestic management operations including profit & loss and company wide policies and procedures. Deborah is based in our Pasadena, CA., USA office and is a member of the NAI Global / Capital Investment Services Group (ISG).

Background & Experience

Ms Luedy, as a former registered representative with AIG Financial Services and One World Financial, specialized in financial planning and asset management. Her solid background in real estate and financial planning has contributed to her ability to negotiate between buyers and sellers having an invaluable and different perspective to the table of negotiations. In addition, she has added to her knowledge base to see from the inside out how banks evaluate and value for mergers & acquisitions from being a student of the Investment Banking Institute (IBI). She has facilitated buyers and sellers and other third parties in asset management with tenant-in-common (TIC) investments. In the mid 1990's she oversaw in-house receivers and is a specialist in the field of forensic loan auditing in relationship to CMBS debt.


Ms Luedy, in 2016 re-sat for her MSA in forensic loan auditing - (CMBS); in 2010 received her certificate with the Investment Banking Institute (IBI). She holds a real estate re-development certificate from the University of Southern California (USC); passed the Series 6 and 63; and, B.A. in Sociology, Heidelberg University; attended California State University- Long Beach; and Ohio State University. She holds a California Health and Life Insurance license-#OD37171; a California real estate license - California BRE #01076984.

Professional Associations & Designations

Ms Luedy is a member of Family Offices and CMD development. She has served as a volunteer for National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurs (NFTE) for disadvantaged high schools students. She is a former member of the Advisory Board, University of Southern California (USC) for urban redevelopment; a former Board Member and Vice-President Communications for CREW Los Angeles Chapter; a past IREM council member for the Los Angeles Chapter; and a past Chair for the Accredited Residential Management (ARM) designation, Los Angeles Chapter. She served in a supporting educational capacity with the national chapter of the Institute Real Estate Management for over five years. Deborah obtained her Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation; holds her California real estate agent license; formerly held her Series 6 and 63; and, holds her California health and life insurance license and is a former registered representative with AIG Financial Services.
