Scope of Service Experience

Mr. Paster has marketed Retail and Commercial properties for lease for over ten years. He specializes in the leasing of commercial retail properties throughout the Los Angeles and Southern California area, representing landlords and restaurant tenants. Working diligently, Jesse has been able to complete transactions for his clients allowing them to achieve their business goals and earn himself a position at NAI Capital as a top retail broker.

He is a fully licensed broker with the California Department of Real Estate. When he is not working Jesse finds time to train for long distance cycling, ski with his family and relaxes with a good book. He is married, has two children and is a resident of West Los Angeles.

Background & Experience

Beginning in 2001, Jesse worked with General Growth Properties in Lease and Management for two of the malls in the Third-Party Division. There in addition to management duties, he was responsible for the specialty leasing program where he more than doubled NOI in both properties he managed. It was in 2006 he made the move to brokerage at NAI Capital where he applied his leasing skills to the needs of a variety of clients in this complex industry. In his tenure he has successfully completed a variety of complex transactions including assets sales of restaurants, preleasing of mixed-use projects, land offered for ground lease, preleasing retail properties prior to major remodel and more. Client successful client transaction relationships include Shoe Palace, Sport Clips, PCF Restaurant Group, Platinum Energy, 7-11, Decron Properties, Avalon Bay Communities, Inc., Sandstone Management, Charles Company, Pentaco Management, John’s Incredible Pizza, Westfield, Macerich, Sherwin Williams, Forest City, CIM, Thrifty Oil Company, Mc Donalds, The Irvine Company, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, Burger King, Watt Companies, Newmark Merrill, and Regency Centers.


Jesse received his Bachelor of Arts from State University of New York in International Relations. He completed continuing education at UC Berkeley Extension in business and accounting fundamentals.

Professional Associations & Designations

Mr. Paster has been an accredited member of the International Councils of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for more than 10 years and earned Certified Leasing Specialist (CLS) designation in 2011.

Currently, he is active in several Los Angeles-based organizations including Real Estate and Construction division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles, the Association of Corporate Real Estate Executives and Pressman Academy.

Jesse attended and graduated from the State University of New York at the New Paltz campus with a Bachelor of Art Degree in International Relations with a Minor in Economic. He did advanced studies at UC - Berkeley.
