Scope of Experience
Michael helps business leaders, investors, and developers with selling and developing their real estate with a focus on single-family and multifamily housing.
Background & Experience
Upon graduation from the University of South Carolina, Michael played seven seasons of professional baseball with the Los Angeles Angels, Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers, San Francisco Giants, Tampa Bay Rays, and Chicago Cubs organizations. He joined NAI Earle Furman as an intern in the fall of 2016 during the off-season. After completing the internship, Michael stayed on as a broker while traveling around the country playing baseball, focusing on attracting a national client base to invest in the southeast market. This allowed him the opportunity to see industries, businesses, and markets thriving nationally for potential investment in growing markets like the Upstate. Michael retired from professional baseball in December of 2018 and joined NAI Earle Furman full-time.
Michael focuses on development land and redevelopment opportunities. He works with property owners to market to the best residential developers in the Southeast and has represented regional and national multifamily developers in site selection. Having developed land and redeveloped buildings himself, his understanding of the process helps keep all parties on the same page throughout the transaction. Anything involving the development of housing, talk to Michael.
