Background & Experience
After retiring from a 38 year career in commercial banking, trust management and investment brokerage, Ricky joined NAI/Latter & Blum in their commercial real estate brokerage business. In his last banking industry role, he was Chief Retail Banking Officer for Hancock Holding Company, parent of Whitney Bank and Hancock Bank, a $20 Billion banking enterprise. As the company wide strategic leader, he grew and improved the consumer banking functions that included branch banking and Harrison Finance, a wholly owned consumer finance subsidiary. His responsibilities also included the Indirect Lending Department, Mortgage Loan Department, Call Center, Direct Banking Department and the Marketing Department. His brokerage practice includes commercial real estate property acquisition, disposition, leasing as well as specialized consultation to financial institutions. It also includes providing real estate investment consultation services to individuals. He is a CCIM Designee and has been a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER CFP™ since 1988. This wealth of real estate, banking and business experience provides him with a strong foundation from which to add value to our commercial real estate client relationships.
