Background & Experience
Rusty Hamrick brings a unique combination of education and experience to the land brokerage business. In addition to graduating from the College of Charleston with a BA in Corporate Communication he also earned a law degree from the Charleston School of Law and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from Clemson University.
In 2010, Rusty was hired by NAI Earle Furman to create the Huff Creek Properties Division. Since then, he has brokered 120 transactions totaling 16,000 acres and $90MM in sales. He is also a published author (Upstate Business Journal and Quality Whitetails magazine) and was named a shareholder in 2022.
Rusty was raised on a 700-acre farm in upstate South Carolina where he received early exposure to timber & wildlife management, agricultural operations, pond/reservoir & impoundment management, easements, equestrianism, and land & wildlife conservation. His background and education make him a valuable resource for landowners.
