NAI Bergman

Among NAI Bergman’s charitable efforts is a concert they underwrite the funds raised from which go to support the students in Cincinnati public schools. The School of Creative and Performing Arts (SCPA) is a public program that is internationally renowned and 47% of the students’ families live below the poverty level. Without NAI Bergman’s effort to raise funds, many of the students would not be able to participate in many of the programs that are a large part of their educational experience. Read more about last year’s concert here. This year will mark their fourth year hosting the event to benefit SCPA!

NAI Vegas

NAI Vegas took a different approach to the gift giving theme this holiday season. In lieu of a traditional gift exchange between co-workers, the commercial real estate professionals banded together to present a local charity with extra funds during the holiday season.

Street Teens is a local organization who is dedicated to helping homeless and at risk-teens throughout the valley. NAI Vegas felt drawn to the organization during the holidays, knowing that this time of year can be difficult for those in need and often times our teenage generation is overlooked.

Mike Kenny commented, “It is easy to get caught up in the fast pace of the real estate market. It is nice to slow down and give back to the community. Based off of the participation and impact of the contribution, it is anticipated that this is the first year of a long tradition for NAI Vegas.

NAI Wisinski of West Michigan

NAI Wisinski of West Michigan primarily supported two local organizations this holiday season.

NAI Wisinski professionals with gifts for the young people of Wedgwood NAI Wisinski professionals with gifts for the young people of Wedgwood

The first organization they supported was Wedgwood Christian Services which is one of Michigan’s most highly regarded experts in helping at-risk youth and families since 1960. Wedgwood is dedicated to aggressively taking on the toughest problems facing young people today. NAI Wisinski put together an arts & crafts basket for the kids that reside on Wedgwood’s campus. This basket will serve as their Christmas gift that they can use throughout the year.

NAI Wisinski also participated in the CAR Cares campaign which is organized by our local commercial real estate board. They raised money to purchase horses for The Equest Center for Therapeutic Riding. This local organization’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals with special needs through the power of the horse. Equine Therapy for the disabled is recognized as one of the more progressive forms of therapy. Horseback riding transports individuals with special needs into a new unexplored world, providing a sense of independence and freedom that defies disabilities. When riding, individuals escape their braces, crutches, wheel chairs and disabilities, replacing them with the gentle gait of a well-trained horse.
